Case 1

C.A., Female,  37 years old, Multiple Sclerosis,   

Before Stem Cell Therapy: Spastic Paraplegia and mild spasticity in upper limbs (Ashworth score 3/3 lower limbs and 1/3 upper limbs), Bladder Incontinence, Spastic Neck

The patient was submitted in a procedure to autologous adult stem cell therapy in august, 2009

Evaluation 9 months after Stem Cell Therapy: strong improvement with an absence of spasticity in upper limbs and decreased in spasticity in lower limbs (1/3), marked improvement of sensation and mobility. she also reported improved bladder control and marked reduction of fatigue.

Conclusions: Global improvements are 80%.

Case 2

G.C., Man, 57 years old, Multiple Sclerosis.

Before Stem Cell Therapy: Spastic quadriplegia (Ashworth score 3/3 lower limbs and 1/3 upper limbs).

The patient were submitted in a procedure to autologous adult stem cell therapy in February, 2010

Evaluation 3 months after Stem Cell Therapy: Improvement: 100% spasticity (absence of spasticity in upper and lower limbs), 60% sensation, 30% increased muscle strength in upper limbs and 20% lower limbs, 30% reduction in fatigue.

Conclusions: Global improvements are 40%.

Case 3

R.k., Female, 36 years old, Multiple Sclerosis, was submitted in Germany in 06/02/2009, to autologous adult stem cell therapy without improvement and deterioration in clinical conduction.

 Before Stem Cell Therapy: Spastic paraplegia (Ashworth score 3/3 lower limbs), Bladder Incontinence, weakness, epilepsy 10 episods/months.

The patient was submitted in a procedure to autologous adult stem cell therapy in April, 2010

Evaluation 4 months after Stem Cell Therapy: Strong improvements in spasticity 100%, and 70% reduction in fatigue, urinary control 100%, stop epileptic attack.

Conclusions: Global improvements are 85%.
